About the Tutor

Ginny Whittle Life Class Tutor - From A' Level I was taught the measuring technique for accurate Life Drawing, I continued doing large scale landscape drawings on my Fine Art Course of woodland and specimen Winter trees approaching each tree with much the same accuracy as a human portrait. These were done using a special medium that only I had developed at that time, which has since been taken up by many others.

After graduating and coming closer to Darlington I attended Anita Dooley's Life Classes for many years at The Arts Centre on Vane Terrace in Darlington which was a great way to spend a couple of hours totally absorbed in my Life Drawing and forgetting life's other less favourable events.

For me the class formed a meditative process, allowing the mind focus and respite from life's ups and downs.
