An Introduction to Cyanotypes - a one day workshop from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 21st March 2020. Cost £60 per person. Run by Jill Welham.

Suitable for beginners. A brief introduction to the history of the cyanotype process followed by a hands-on workshop where you will learn how to prepare/coat paper. Participants will have the opportunity to make their own cyanotype prints to take home. All materials will be provided but participants can bring along their own items such as leaves, grasses, pressed flowers, lace, and stencils to print. Gloves will be provided but please either bring an apron or wear old clothes.

Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.

Getting to The Bridge

The Bridge Centre

The Bridge is a short drive from Darlington Town Centre, with free parking available on-site and in the surrounding area.

There is also a covered space to store bicycles.

Getting here by Bus

A number of Arriva buses stop outside The Bridge, including numbers: 2, 3B and 12

Getting here by Train

We're a ten minute walk from Darlington Train Station. From the Yarm Road entrance to the station, turn right onto Yarm Road (walking away from the town centre), and follow the road towards the corner of Hundens Lane.

Accessible Facilities

Our building is fully accessible including disabled facilities.
Dropped curbs are in use in the surrounding area for wheelchair access to the building.
