Frequently Asked Questions about The Bridge
At The Bridge, we provide a wide range of visual arts based courses to people in and around Darlington. If you'd like to take a look at our current course offering, please visit the Courses section on this site.
You can join a course by completing an online course registration form, or arriving for the first session of a term. Please note that arriving on the day does not guarantee a place, and we'd suggest you contact the tutor prior to attending via the website to be sure.
All of our courses run for 10 week terms which generally coincide with school terms. If you'd like to join a course that's already started, we suggest you make an enquiry via the course page and speak to the tutor directly.
Please note that for each booking, in addition to completion of our booking form, a Room Hire Agreement must be completed prior to commencement of the hire period.
Courses can be held by tutors at a cost of £85.00 (accurate for the period of 1/4/18 to 31/3/19) for a 10 week booking.
This entitles you to one morning, afternoon or evening session per week for the duration of the 10 week term.
Payment can be made with cash, cheque or card at The Bridge Centre.
We do not currently allow online payment until we have received relevant completed documents and your booking is accepted by office management.
You'll receive a listing via our website, social media, print material and inclusion in our regular e-mail newsletters to promote your course.
Once you've selected your room, please proceed to our Booking form to check availability on your selected dates.
Our room booking costs vary by room and duration of booking. Please view our Hire Space room listings for full details and prices.
Please note that use of additional facilities may be subject to additional charges which will be agreed at the time of booking.
Payment can be made with cash, cheque, BACS or card at The Bridge Centre. Full details of payment will be provided upon confirmation of your booking.
