A creative space for tutors to deliver courses in the community, with affordable hire rates
Starting a course at The Bridge is a great way to share your arts knowledge and experience with people in the area who love art.
Our dedicated studio spaces cater for a range of mediums from painting and ceramics to digital art and printmaking. Since 2016, hundreds of courses have been held at the centre, and we've worked to create a space open to everyone that allows creativity to flourish.
Course tutors are free to set their own course pricing, and benefit from our marketing efforts including website listing with online booking, seasonal 'whats on' brochure and social media content to promote your course.
All courses generally run on a term basis with 10 week block bookings, and terms generally coincide with regular school terms.

The Bridge provides a vibrant community led venue to support artists and encourage visual arts involvement for Darlington. Many artists who had a presence at the Darlington Arts Centre can now be found at The Bridge Centre. It is also the home of other arts-based organisations.
